Solidarity, sustainability and inclusion in action

Thanks to the “Recycling in Solidarity” event, children had a truly special educational and solidarity experience, made of creativity, discovery and sharing.

Through playful workshops and reuse activities, they learned in a fun way how important it is to take care of the environment. Old objects destined for the bin were transformed into new colorful creations, stimulating their imagination and strengthening their awareness of the value of sustainability and recycling.

But not only that: the event was also an opportunity to meet and get to know peers from different socio-economic backgrounds. Together, they played, learned and built relationships, promoting inclusion, mutual respect and the beauty of cultural exchange.

A Community and Fundraising Success

Thanks to the generosity of participants and partners, the event raised 817 EUR (33.000 THB) achieving 60% of its fundraising goal. These funds not only supported the organization of the event itself but also contributed to creating local job opportunities and engaging vulnerable communities directly.

Of the total amount raised, 270 EUR (10.000 THB) was donated to the “Kids Go to School” program, run by the Xaverian Missionaries in collaboration with Samakhee School. This initiative supports access to education for vulnerable children in the Khlong Toey area, helping them build brighter futures through learning.
