“Amici di Penna” (Pen Pals) is a project developed to stimulate children around the globe to connect with one another.  

The Pen Pals project aims to get children to learn the joy of sending and receiving letters in a digitized world.

By sending each other letters, postcards, photos, and drawings, children get to know one another. They develop a global social network where they discover new people, places, and lifestyles, and enrich their cultural knowledge.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Amici to Penna is open to BimBi Italiani members with enrollment twice a year. Once enrolled, Bimbi Italiani matches children based on their age group and, to the extent possible, matching preferences.  BimBi Italiani then connects parents by email and parents to start their children writing.
